Our Mission
Protect and Preserve
We protect and preserve the natural cold-water fisheries in mid-Michigan and throughout the state.
Our local trout streams in Clare and Gladwin Counties are the main priority for the LPM chapter. We conduct stream research and projects on the Cedar river and Tobacco river. The Chapter contributes to Michigan TU to support other cold-water protections around the state.
The chapter works on projects to protect and preserve our cold water fisheries in the mid-Michigan area with the main focus on the Cedar River.
The chapter has property in Gladwin County on the Cedar River. Read about our responsibility to maintain the river.
